Phone: +95-81-29266, 29267 Inle lake is roughly 22 km long and 10 km wide, situated at 975 meters above the sea level and is in the southern mountains of Shan state. The lake is famous for its scenic beauty, floating villages, the culture and traditions based on the water life, leg-rowing skill of the "Inthar" (the people living on the lake). From Nyaung Shwe, the town at the north-eastern edge of the lake, the motor boats will take you to The Serenity within 45 minutes. The Serenity is located on the north-eastern bank of the lake surrounded by Shan hills. Individual bungalows are built on stilts on the lake waters with private boat yard. Standard rooms are set up in the bamboo garden surrounded by forest. Hotel facilities
