Tourist boat arrives at Bagan jetty, on Ayeyarwaddy river

Tourist boat "Shwe Kein-Nayi" arrives Bagan jetty in the afternoon. There is tourist boat from Mandalay to Bagan on the Ayeyarwaddy river three or four times per week.

"Shwe Kein-Nayi" has three iron decks (the upper deck is open), hall type cabins with sofa seats, toilet rooms, and a restaurant. In the high season tourist boat cruises form Mandalay to Bagan on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On the other days the boat used is double decker wooden boat which also has similar facilities.

The boat tickets can be bought through any hotel or travel agent in Mandalay and Bagan.
