Sun setting over Tent Kyi hill on the western side of the Ayeyarwaddy river. At the summit of the mountain is Tent Kyi pagoda (to the right of the setting sun in this picture) which is considered one of the ancient temples of Bagan era. Some tourists to Bagan (also called Pagan) take time to cross the river by boat to visit this temple. This photo was taken on 08 Jan 2006, from a boat on the river. Most popular sunset views of Bagan are however taken from a temple-top in old Bagan. Barber Cho |
