Shwezigone pagoda in Nyaung Oo

Shwezigone pagoda is a solid cylindrical structure resting on three square terraces. It has a bold waist-band round the bell shaped dome. Shwezigone (located in Nyaung Oo, near Bagan) was built by King Anawratha, who left it in an unfinished state. and completed by Kyanzittha (1084 - 1113AD).
