Pakokku town in 2001. The streets are lined with shop houses selling various items such as rice, snack foods, household items, handicrafts, clothes, etc. Pakokku is less than one hour drive away from the famous Pakhangyi old monastery which once was a center of Buddhist teaching in the country. |
