Huts along Lay Myo river - northern Rakhine state

These huts on the bank of Lay Myo river in northern Rakhine state (near Mrauk U) are built and used by the people who transport bamboo. They ship bamboo from the hills (border of Rakhine and Chine states) upstream to the towns and villages downstream. They float bamboo rafts down the rivers. At nights they sleep in the huts like these. These are also the places where people station to harvest nearby bamboo forest. At some places where there are no such places they sleep in a temporary huts on the rafts.
