River travel and transport in boats are the main means of movement in the division. Several bridges across the river streams have been finished. However in many places it is necessary to cross the river by river craft.

North-south hills (about 1200 in the north to a few hundred meters in the south) are seen on the western part of the division which is the extension of Rakhine range.
